Nonprofit Board Membership 101
In this interactive workshop, participants will receive information about nonprofit board membership: Legal duties of board members under Washington State law. Role of nonprofit board as a group and board members individually. Relationship between the board and Executive Director and employees/volunteers.
Who should come to this workshop? Individuals, groups, and others that are on nonprofit boards, considering creating a nonprofit, or joining a nonprofit board. Presenters: Sarah Tran, Nonprofit Assistance Center and Jodi Nishioka, Wayfind.
