MYT Presents Journey of the Noble Gnarble & Dear Edwina Jr (Double Feature)
This wonderful double feature opens the 2018 Summer Season for Midcoast Youth Theater.

The ocean floor is filled with the rarest of creatures, but none are as rare as gnarbles. Their fins are small, their tails are floppy, and they have never strayed far from their homes until now. Journey of the Noble Gnarble is a story of a little gnarble with a big dream, who tries to make it past doubting blyfish, sneaky subbalubbles, and hungry plinks on his way to the surface of the sea. Along the way he befriends the glinny glims who teach him the importance of positivity and determination!

Dear Edwina is an uplifting musical about the pleasures of growing up. Thirteen year-old Edwina Spoonapple is desperate to be a part of the Kalamazoo Advice-a-palooza Festival. While her siblings both have ample evidence of their accomplishments, poor Edwina has no credibility. When a talent scout from the convention visits her hometown, she introduces her musical advice giving shows live from the family garage in hopes of finding her place in the spotlight. She is helped by her older siblings, quirky friends, and neighbors. Together they set out to tackle the world's problems with hysterical numbers about everything from birthday party etiquette to the proper table settings.
Told through a show-within-a-show format, Edwina and her friends share wisdom that audiences of all ages will enjoy.

The Journey of the Noble Gnarble runs about 30 minutes, followed by a brief intermission, and then Dear Edwina Jr runs about 60 minutes.

All performances at the Orion Performing Arts Center in Topsham, Maine (66 Republic Avenue).
