REP - by Thalia Sablon - NYSummerfest Theater Festival 2018
Amiri enlists his college friends Langston and Malcolm to help him remove a confederate statue in his hometown down south. A 28 hour long bus trip tests their friendship and if their really down for the cause. Throughout the play these friends challenge each other to act on the things they say they are going to do and to think differently on what they think will hold them back.
