My Darling Clementine features the husband and wife duo of Michael Weston King and Lou Dalgleish.
King, a mainstay of the singer-songwriter & Americana scene for the past 20 years, has released 15 albums - both solo and with his alt country pioneering band The Good Sons. He has collaborated with the likes of Chris Hillman, Ron Sexsmith, Jakie Leven and the great Townes Van Zandt. Michael will be performing as part of the Townes Van Zandt tribute during SXSW on March 13th.
Lou Dalgleish is the honey-voiced former dancer and actress turned singer songwriter who has released 4 stunning solo albums, including the much heralded Live at Ronnie Scotts. She has worked with the likes of Elvis Costello and The Brodsky Quartet amongst many others.
Together they have crafted an album of pure, honest, country duets that evoke and honor the great duos of the past... the likes of Johnny Cash & June Carter, Dolly Parton & Porter Wagoner, and of course, George Jones & Tammy Wynette.
Lou and Michael are Britain's most talked about country couple and the new darlings of Radio 2 with their George and Tammy tinged country pop single 100,000 Words. Their critically acclaimed debut album, "How Do You Plead? " has been hailed as "the Best British Country Record ever" and has fans and critics alike reaching for the superlatives.
