Improv 201
If you've already had improv training and are looking to advance your scene work then Improv 201 is for you. Improv 201 takes your improv skills to the next level as you learn how to work together as an ensemble.
We will focus on: -Long Form Improv scene creation -Editing scenes with the Montage structure -Finding the game of a scene -Third Person Entrances -Callbacks -Arcs and threads of scenes
John Haynes, Director of The Creative Institute, will be teaching the class for 8 weeks on Tuesdays beginning Tuesday, April 23rd and ending on Tuesday, June 11th Time: 6:30-8:30pm
More About the Creative Institute John Haynes, Instructor
John Haynes is the director of The Creative Institute at the Actors Theater of Minnesota. Formally the Director of the Brave New Institute School of Improvisation, John brings over 15 years experience to his classes. John performs improvisation regularly in the Twin Cities with Stevie Ray's Improv Company; he has been a company member with The Mystery Café Comedy Dinner Theater as well as performing his one-man improv structure "Voices in My Head". John is also the co-creator of the popular improv duo Police Cop Detective PI.
