Voted Best Folk Act in VT, 2017 - Seven Days VT
" The album marks some of the duo's strongest songwriting to date. And thanks to their shared DNA, harmonies intertwine so effortlessly it's sometimes hard to tell who's voice is who's. The result is an album that chills and soothes in equal measure." -Dan Bolles, Seven Days VT
"The DuPont Brothers have the gift of being both poets and musicians, a rarity these days. Its always refreshing to hear sibling duos, because you can sense the true bond felt between them. A Riddle For You has a way of really tugging on your heartstrings, having the quality of sounding familiar while at the same time offering a fresh twist on traditional folk music. -Amy Lieberman, NYS Music
"Beautiful Music." -Jason Marck, WBEZ CHI
Deeply passionate old souls with a new and refreshing take on contemporary folk-pop music. - Fay Aiyana Grant, The Mountaineer
The debut LP from The DuPont Brothers is so pretty it hurts. - Maeri Ferguson, The Horn
I usually take my time sorting through the submissions of opening acts because I want the audience to enjoy them as much as they enjoy me. I heard three seconds of one of their songs and said, Them! I want them! The future is bright for these two. - Jerry Douglas
A first listen at their new music is incredibly refreshing, and theyre the first band in a long time that I personally feel extremely confident supporting right from the get-go. - Adam King, I Shit Music
"First off, theyre nice. Just, like, super nice. Secondly, theyre excellent musicians. Theyre each incredible guitarists in their own right - get ready for some deft fingerpicking - and their voices blend together with the kind of practiced familiarity that one expects HAS to come from, well, family. -Krister B Rollins, WCSH 6 Portland, ME
Its the essence of what stop-you-in-your-tracks music is suppose to do, which is shake you out of your day-to-day life like an old friend who wants you know everything will be ok, in time, as long as you never forget to believe in the endless possibilities of the cosmos. -Garret K. Woodward, Smoky Mountain News
With the DuPont Brothers, we take a step back, slow our pace right down and take one deep breath, heart rate sliding down the scale as our thoughts climb through the murky path into our minds eye and away from the shallow chatter of everyday life. Heavy As Lead takes us on a journey, one that is directed by emotion and mood, and guided by prose. The lyrics are perhaps as flowery as the music, poetry the basis for the construction of the tracks and a story clouded in ambiguity unfolding with each step. - Vickye, For the Country Record
