IT'S A BORSCHT BELT TRIBUTE COMEDY NIGHT AT THE '76 HOUSE
It will be an evening of great food and laughs at the monthly comedy show at the '76 House in Tappan, NY, on Thursday,June 7, 2018, produced by J. Irwin Productions.
This months show is a BORSCHT BELT TRIBUTE, COMEDY a la CATSKILLS!
Show tickets and dinner reservations are easily available through Brown Paper Tickets. One dinner item is required for each attendee.
The headliner is the very funny STEVE MARSHALL, who has performed all over the USA, including The Improv in Hollywood, The Laugh Factory in Las Vegas, and Dangerfields and Comic Strip Live in NYC. He has appeared on film with such icons as Mickey Rooney, Celeste Holm, and Dick Cavett. Steves high-energy comedy has been featured on NBC, CBS, CNBC, and The Food Network on TV.
Also on the bill will be:
JACOB MACHLIS, new to the comedy scene, he is making his first appearance at the 76 House and has performed at Comic Strip Live in NYC.
BOB GREENBERG, one of the stars of the national touring company of Old Jews Telling Jokes, is a member of the world famous Friars Club, and has appeared on Saturday Night Live, Conan, and David Letterman on TV. Bob has appeared Off-Broadway and also performs regularly at comedy venues such as the Triad Theater, Gotham Comedy Club and Catch a Rising Star.
DAVE KONIG brings many on-screen credits and comedy appearances to our show. The three-time Emmy winner has appeared on HBOs Crashing, The Amazing Mrs. Maisel (Amazon), and Louie on FX Network. Dave has appeared Off-Broadway and at comedy venues throughout the country, including Stand Up New York, the Friars Club, Foxwoods and Borgata casinos, and on cruise lines.
GEORGE SALTZ, a retired Clinical Psychologist, has appeared at Broadway Comedy Club and Comic Strip Live in New York City. George has appeared here at the '76 House several times in the past 4 years.
GLADYS SIMON, our host for the evening, is a Comedy Legend who has mentored the nation's top comics for decades. Gladys has worked comedy clubs across the country and calls Comic Strip Live in New York City her comedy home, where she regularly produces shows right in "Gladys' Room."
THE 76 HOUSE is New York's oldest tavern, a 300-year old structure that has been restored to pristine condition by the Norden Family and is listed as a National Landmark. Besides the historical significance, patrons now enjoy fabulous food prepared by their acclaimed chef in a comfortable and hospitable atmosphere.
