Henry Box Brown: A Musical Journey NYC in July (and UK in August)

NYC Tony award winner, BEN HARNEY, Broadways- Dream Girls collaborates with writer / co-composer, MEHR MANSURI and co-composer, FRANK SANCHEZ (additional music by ERIC DOZIER & SAM URDANG) - to present HENRY BOX BROWN- A Musical Journey- now headed to THE EDINBURGH FRINGE INTERNATIONAL THEATER FESTIVAL.
In a fusion of original songs blending Gospel, R&B, Bluegrass as well as acapella spirituals, Mr. Harney leads the CTC Off-Broadway Ensemble - in a SELL OUT run about about an 1850's Virginia slave who ships himself to freedom in a dry goods box.
Viewed by over 20,000 people from New York's Bahai Unity Center to the renowned Christian Cultural Center to the Los Angeles Convention Center, it is also slotted to be the CENTERPIECE of the Edinburgh Fringe International Theatre Festival- where it will perform at the coveted MUSIC HALL ASSEMBLY for 21 performances.
