the KIDS West Coast Tour has been cancelled for now due to US Immigration denying them entry. We are still having the show with the remaining bands and cheaper. I'll be refunding pre sale tickets today as well. Bummed but it will happen hell or high water in the future. Here's an official statement from Ludo:
"Deeply sorry to announce that, due to regulations and state laws (that we weren't fully aware of..) we were not permitted to enter the USA, in fact we even didn't get on the plane in Amsterdam. We, the Kids, feel very very sorry for that and hope we'll get the opportunity to set up a new tour, (even bigger) later (I will not communicate further on this issue on FB, sorry again)

the WIDOWS, who have done time in such bands as Flapping Jet/ Swami recording artists Mannekin Piss, Max Bristol and the Weekend Blacks, and The Fastplants. This could be the most fun band from America's finest city. Although paddling up-stream against a sea of murky math rock and Johnny come lately Stones clones in San Diego, The Widows have stuck to their guns, performing for live crowds at a number of venues with such bands as The Sultans, The Marked Men, The Spits, Deniz Tek, Electric Frankenstein, and even with such diverse acts as Mr. Tube and His Flying Objects, The Creepy Creeps, and Dead Moon. The Widows' sound can best be described good time American rock n' roll with a nervous stomach. The Widows have played extensively around Southern California, leading San Diego's dying rock n' roll scene into an unfortunate new era of obscurity. It doesn't seem as if rock n' roll has the shelf life it once did in these parts. They will be continuing their assault on the Critical Mass scene vowing to have the city eradicated of this nuisance by the end of 2012!

EMBALMERS are a meld of Garage, Punk, Rockabilly and Psycho. A little bit of Hasil Adkins, Roky Erickson & The Cramps a la EMBALMERS. EMBALMERS are krypt keepers living on the beach, a B-episode of The Munsters meet The Trashmen for a ghoulish day of surfing, partying and debauchery. If jazzy riffs and synchronized jump moves combined with a degree from The Juliard School of Music is what you desire? then this is definately not the band for you, but if you're looking for a good old fashion down the middle fun time! Dancing, hooting and shaking what Yo momma gave you, then this is the band for you! so sit back! smile! enjoy a few stiff drinks with some friends and loved ones! and Please!!!! enjoy the show!!!!! The casket is now open for your viewing pleasure! and we urge you not to panic! or bolt from your seats!!!!
