Lazyeyes is a garage / shoegaze / dreampop band from Brooklyn, NY. Their debut LP Echoes is scheduled for a summer 2018 release through Egghunt Records and 2670 Records.

Lazyeyes released a self-titled EP in January 2013 and were immediately heralded by The Deli magazine as Best Psych / Shoegaze band in New York. After the bands sold-out record release show at the legendary Williamsburg venue Glasslands, the Lazyeyes EP garnered widespread acclaim. Best New Bands described the bands single Wait as an excellent example of the groups ability to erupt at an expansive, pyrotechnic level all the while sharply delivering pop-laden hooks. Purple Sneakers pronounced the EP a moody and anthemic record, equal parts shoegaze and dream pop. Tracks from the EP have been featured on BBC Radio, XM Radio and numerous FM stations worldwide. Lazyeyes was a featured artist in the November 2014 issue of NME, and in December of that year, Stereogum described their sound as "a muscular, riff-happy brand of guitar-based dream-pop," going on to proclaim that "their songs burst with angular hooks and polished melodies."

The band self-released their sophomore EP, New Year, in January 2015, and it was quickly picked up and reissued by Burger Records cassette imprint, Wiener Records. Their single "Adaptation" also received high praise from Interview Magazine, which wrote that the songs fast-paced, garage-tinged guitar riff draws the listener in, propelling you through chorus and verse. It is both urgent and reassuringly familiar."
