Night In Oaxaca 2018: Siempre Adelante
About Night in Oaxaca:
The Mixteco/ Indigena Community Organizing Project (MICOP) welcomes over 450 county, business, and indigenous leaders for an evening of traditional Oaxacan food and culture, as we raise needed funds to support the indigenous immigrant communities of Ventura County at our signature Night in Oaxaca event.
This year, our Night in Oaxaca will be held at the Olivas Adobe in Ventura, CA.
The Night in Oaxaca evening begins with a social hour featuring Oaxacan appetizers and a Oaxacan craft market. Our Dinner will be a delicious Oaxacan meal. Our program will feature a few MICOP highlights, traditional music and dance and we will our evening by awarding scholarships for indigenous students pursuing college education.
Join us for an evening under the summer stars in support of Ventura County's indigenous immigrant community!!
