Write Songs That Matter
Writing truly great songs is hard work. It takes practice, vulnerability and focus.
In this workshop, Jeff Leisawitz, award winning musician/ producer, college songwriting instructor and author of 'Not F*ing Around: The No Bullsh*t Guide for Getting Your Creative Dreams Off the Ground,' revs into exercises, a guided meditation, worksheets and practical steps to amp up your songwriting and keep your pedal to the metal.
At this event we'll tap into our unique perspectives and emotional experiences to learn how these gifts can guide our passions, purpose and creative intentions. We'll drill into why we are songwriters and musicians (in the first place) and what we truly want to share. Then we'll create a mission statement to get everybody on track with their personal songwriting goals.
Learn... > what drives you as a songwriter, who your audience really is, what you want to communicate > how to tap into your creativity at a deeper level > tools and techniques to accomplish your goals
