National Tap Dance Day falls on May 25th every year, in honor of Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson's birthday, considered the 'father' of tap dance, a uniquely American art form.
The idea of National Tap Dance Day was first presented to U.S. Congress on February 7, 1989 and was signed into American law by President George H.W. Bush on November 8, 2004.
Live music with Mark Shilansky and friends and tap dancers Ryan Casey, Drika Overton, Gay Nardone and more. Performances and jam.
