These have been used to describe this exceptional artist who has made a name in musical theater, live concerts, and recording over the past 30 years.
Bo's theater credits includes plum roles in major musicals, among them Tenyong in CCP's "Walang Sugat", Emilio Jacinto in PETA's "1896", Wang Ta in Metropolitan Theater's "Flower Drum Song", Tony in "West Side Story", Rama in CCP's "Rama Hari", the Manila run of "Miss Saigon", and Resorts World Manila's King Mongkut in the "King and I", which ran for nine months at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, to name a few.
In the live concert scene, he has shared the passion and gift of his classical voice training to the interpretation of romantic pop songs and standards, bringing a sense of opera into the mainstream and stirring his audiences in the process. His series, Cerrudo: Classico is the longest-running concert series of its kind, having staged over 150 shows since its inception in 2005, both locally and internationally.
His consecutive triumphs in the 2011 Aliw awards as "Best Male Performer in Hotels, Music Lounges and Bars", and in 2012 as "Best Male Concert Performer" as well as the "2013 Best Concert Collaboration" award he shared with other seasoned artists, via the concert series "I <3 MLA", further sealed his stellar status in the entertainment industry.
