Blunt Objects Theatre presents Taming of the Shrew
Blunt Objects Theatre is proud to announce the first production of its 2013 season, our twisted take on William Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew at Space Club HQ. After the drunkard Christopher Sly falls victim to an elaborate prank, he encounters a strange group of itinerant Players who stage one of theatre's most infamous plays-within-a-play. Directed by company co-founder and Managing Director Bohrs Hoff, our show explores the infamous relationship of Kate and Petruchio as a BDSM romance in the tradition of films like Secretary or the popular 50 Shades book series.
