Weapons of Mass Distraction
Weapons of Mass Distraction is a group of artists and political activists working to focus public awareness on the fact that our media sources are privatizing and purveying fluff distraction in exchange for large FCC deregulations on media ownership laws.
Our system of government relies on its citizens as the ultimate check and balance to its power, and on the media to provide us with unbiased information. It is our mission to help safeguard this system by fighting media consolidation and bolstering independent media sources. The weapons of mass distraction project is designed to utilize the talents and resources of the artistic community. We raise funds, educate the public, and provide vital links between artists, activists, and voters.
