Kate recently celebrated the release of her 4th studio album, Triumph, a collection of soulful & optimistic songs. She has entered the self-improvement movement as well, by creating a companion CD of affirmations, and a deck of affirmations cards - both inspired by the lyrics of her songs. Kate also serves as an advocate for the disempowered, developing a pilot program called Miracle of Melody to help women inmates learn to use their voices for positive change in their lives. + KRISTEN GRAVES: www.KristenGraves.com
Kristen Graves is a singer/songwriter and humanitarian from Fairfield, CT who was recently listed as part of the "new generation of folk music" in the New York Times and had a recent mention in Rolling Stone for her participation in the compilation album, "Buy This Fracking Album," produced by Movement Music Records. Kristen delights audiences across the country with catchy songs, a penchant for storytelling, and inspiring lyrics. In addition to her touring and recording schedule, Kristen makes sure that there is always time to be part of the humanitarian organizations whose work she admires and is inspired by. Spending months living and working with Simply Smiles in Mexico and on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation in South Dakota creates the signature chemistry of Kristens performances: a stirring combination of music and justice.
+ Miles and Mafale www.MilesandMafale.com
The husband and wife team of Catherine Miles and Jay Mafale are well-known on the Folk circuit as two-thirds of The YaYas, and half of No Fuss and Feathers. Theyve spent the last few years focusing their efforts on touring with No Fuss and Feathers in support of the groups album, Traveling Circus. Now, theyre on their next journey together as Miles & Mafale. 2018 brings a year of creative growth for Miles & Mafale. With the upcoming release of their new duo album, they venture in a bit of a new direction by introducing a number of socio-political themed songs, something theyve not done before, while still keeping to their signature style. With expertly crafted songs and reminiscent narratives woven throughout, listening to their music is very much like hearing a story from a dear friend; illustrated with such detail that the lyrics are almost tangible, so deeply personal and yet, universal. Catherine is a vocal powerhouse; soulful, intimate, emotional and raw. Jays guitar is alternately percussive and melodic, propelling the narrative. + JEFF PRZECH www.JeffPrzech.com
Influenced by contemporary artists like Jason Isbell and Ryan Adams, along with classic artists like Kris Kristofferson (his biggest influence) and John Mellencamp, Przech enjoys being a storyteller more than anything else and playing the songs in this way will enable him to connect with people on a much more personal level. Jeff recently released his second album, Jeff Przech & The Outfit, and will be touring the country to support it, all the while balancing his time at home with his children. Any success that might come his way will be sweeter when shared with those closest to him.
