Infinite Resistance by the SF Neo-Futurists (2018 FURY Factory Festival)

The San Francisco Neo-Futurists are a collective of wildly prolific writer/director/performers who create theater that is a fusion of sport, poetry and living-newspaper. Their headline show, The Infinite Wrench, is an ever-changing collection of short plays that they perform 50 weekends a year.

With Infinite Resistance: 30 political plays in 60 liberatory minutes, the San Francisco Neo-Futurists present thirty short plays interrogating, lampooning, and wrestling with contemporary politics, national and local. Plays that rage at injustice, celebrate the struggle, and champion community. Plays about immigration policy, microaggressions, self-care, gun control, queer politics, and more. Plays that dance, question, shout, and hold your hand. Written and performed by the ensemble, these two-minute plays offer offer difficult truths and uncontainable joy right here, right now.

One of the most exciting theatrical events in San Francisco Bay Area, the FURY Factory is a national hub for ensemble theater work on the West Coast. Staged every other year by foolsFURY theater company, it features: Mainstage productions of fully crafted works by some of the countrys most innovative, exciting theater makers, Raw Materials Polished sections of new works in development, Workshops in creation techniques led by participating artists and other master teachers, as well as panel discussions and more.

Once every two years, we stage an electrifying gathering of collaborative theater makers from around the country. We are thrilled to announce this years line up!
