Barika and Satyrdagg at Earth Sky Time
Join us on the farm Memorial Day weekend for the opening of our concert season at Earth Sky Time. Dance to the rocking grooves of Barika and Satrydagg while enjoying wood-fired pizza from the bread bus and a selection of beer, wine and kombucha.
Burlington-based Barika blends indie funk with psychedelic West African grooves inspired by the Wassoulou region of Mali. Craig Myers, known for his work in Phish bassist Mike Gordons band, leads on the kamel ngoni, a West African stringed instrument.
Satyrdagg's music explores the far and intense reaches of rhythm, harmony, tonality, and modality. Satyrdagg is a "booty-shakin" funk fusion, world music, neo-soul, metal mashup featuring soaring improvisation and tightly arranged original music.
Admission is $15 for adults ($10 for farmers and students, kids free). Bring your crew!
In the event of rain, the party happens inside the barn.
