A two-day/one-night workshop in the woods July 7 & 8
Returning to their second FURY Factory festival direct from Vashon Island, WA, UMO shares the building blocks of their method of devising physical ensemble theater developed over the last 27 years. This workshop includes food, lodging and overnight camping or room upgrades in beautiful Sonoma County. Whether youre a seasoned performer looking to expand and refresh their own skills or an emerging artist looking to fill their artistic toolbox, this workshop will get your juices flowing.

Instructor Bios:
Elizabeth Klob has been a theater artist for over 30 years; designing, directing, performing, teaching and leading the UMO Ensemble as executive artist for the last 15 years. She started her artistic journey in the NYC and finally found a home in the alternative theater scene of Seattle in 1992. She has created over 15 devised, original pieces with many different collaborators including the UMO Ensemble, Acrobatic Conundrum and her favorite solo performer Maria Glanz. She lives on Vashon Island, WA with her family and too many animals to count.
Maria Glanz is an actor, solo performer, writer and teacher. Her works Puuhonua (place of refuge) and See Me Naked received Best of Fest honors at several US & Canadian Fringe Festivals. She won the Hugo House New Play Award for VIC (Spirit Made Flesh) and received an Artist Trust Fellowship in Theatre. A member of UMO Ensemble, Maria performed in and was a lead writer for FAIL BETTER: Beckett Moves UMO and Resistance Cabaret, and wrote Falling Awake, premiering at Seattles ACT Theatre in March.
