Or almost all of us.
Status is a show about someone who doesn't want his any more.

Researched partly in Thanet, the show is a rollercoaster ride, a mesmerising tour around incidents across the world that keep you there with Chris, wondering what's going to happen next. It's about running away from the national story you're given. A globe-spanning journey of attempted escape, with songs along the way. Status springs from conversations about who we might be, and whether your country needs you more than you might need it.

This new show is from the multi-Fringe First winning team that created Confirmation, also written and performed by Chris Thorpe (Unlimited Theatre, Third Angel) and developed with/directed by Rachel Chavkin (The TEAM).

Commissioned by Battersea Arts Centre, Warwick Arts Centre and Les Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg and supported by the British Council, Goethe-Institut London and the Collaborative Touring Network.
