DINER JOURNAL LIVE
Diner Journal returns with a quarterly live reading and performance series in the Wythe Hotel Cinema. Diner Journal is an independent magazine featuring original art, literature, and recipes. The Journal is a thematic exploration into food, inspiration, and creativity. Ad-free and three hole-punched, Diner Journal has been self-published in Brooklyn since 2006. Each live iteration is a first chance to experience and engage with new material and support artists in creating material to ultimately be edited into an annual print publication.
Tickets are required and are on a sliding scale. Diner Journal has always been free of ads and will always be independently published which is not an inexpensive (or maybe even the smartest) way to do things but it keeps us unfettered by the wants and needs of the capitalist machine. Ticket sales will go to offsetting the cost of publication and keeping us independent.
