How many of us have the chance to capture the setting sun from the walls of a mighty Fortress? Experience the unique twilight skies at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site with renowned nature photographer Adam Hill. Adam will guide you through the evening as you learn about capturing amazing photos with your camera while discovering the beauty of the site as the evening sets on this special place. Under Adams expert tutelage, unlock the secrets of your camera and learn to capture amazing moments under Louisbourg's incomparable evening sky. Adam will share with you his knowledge on sunsets, landscapes and astrophotography. You will walk away with lasting memories and the pictures to show it!
Please be sure to bring a camera capable of manual control and a tripod.

Adam Hill is a nature photographer concerned with conveying the beauty he sees and feels in nature. Hill's award-winning photography has been published in books, magazines and calendars, and his prints have been collected all over the world, from Greenland to South Africa. Hill was raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, surrounded by the lakes, rivers, highlands and coast lines. Cape Breton's influence on his life has been profound, inspiring him to seek the natural beauty that the rest of Canada has to offer.

- Wear comfy footwear and warm clothes.
- All daytime visitors to Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site will clear site at 5pm (including those holding tickets to evening events).
