As writers, we grow and change over time, but we all have a few favorite stories from early in our writing lives that have good bones. For this class, we'll pull those old stories out of the file cabinet and learn how to strip them down, refinish them, and give them new lives in the present tense.
About the Instructor: Tracy Lee Bird studied Creative Writing at the University of Arizona, where she was recognized for excellence in both creative and academic writing. She is a three-time alumnus of the Eckerd College Writer's Conference where she has studied with Andre Dubus III, Stuart O'Nan, and Laura Lippman. Her short fiction has been published in Sabal and 96 Creations. She lives in Tampa, Florida.
Saturday, May 12 (1:00pm-3:00pm).
