Making his Chicago performance debut in support of his new album, DRIFTING, TONEY ROCKS delivers a show rich in diversity featuring his soulful voice supported by acoustic guitars, ukulele and piano. The Las Vegas Weekly named Rocks as one of the top 10 Acts to Watch in 2017. His sound is an Americana mixture of country, blues and rock with engaging songwriting. A heavy touring artist, Rocks logs more time on the road and on stages all across the country than most indie artists you'll run across. Chicago native REBECCA JASSO is a singer/songwriter who playfully writes around the themes of love, loneliness, and fantasy, skillfully weaving her melodies into the harmonic fabric of her fingerstyle guitar playing. A visual artist, Rebecca conjures images with her lyrics to insert you into pictures from her own imagination. From soft, autumnal landscapes, to dark, Narnian scenes, each song is a journey into a new story. Her honest voice and beautiful songs will absolutely charm you. SARAH EIDE is a lot of things an award winning composer of film and game music, a classically trained pianist, and a performing singer-songwriter. As a graduate of Bostons Berklee College of Music, its no surprise that her talent has taken her further than most independent artists allowing her to pave a non-traditional path and lifestyle of full-time artistry. Drawing comparisons to iconic contemporary pianist such as Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, and Ben Folds, Eides music is equally thoughtful, quirky, intentional, and honest. Its a sound she describes as cinematic folk rock with nuances of jazz and pop. Eide reflects, In a lot of ways my life as a film/game composer crosses into my life as a songwriter. I treat my songs like scenes of movies as though Im scoring the lyrics. Most of my songs are written that way and Ive heard time and again that my music sounds a bit like it was written for film.
