ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Devising for Immersive Theatre: A Workshop with Theatre Professionals
Many people go to the theatre to lose themselves in the production, to forget about their everyday life and to be transported into another world. No kind of theatre transports an audience quite like immersive theatre. In immersive theatre, the audience are not merely passive bystanders. They are part of the story; they are part of the action.
In this practical workshop you will learn about the devising for immersive theatre process alongside members of the Dread Falls Theatre team. You will work on the set of their new show; Patient #4620 to explore how space can shape narrative and how narrative can alter space.
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes to the workshop.
Workshop tickets: Adult: £10, Conc:£8, Workshop & show: £15
Please note: The workshop is designed for those over the age of 16, and is suitable for theatre professionals and non-professionals.
