From New York to LA, Finding my Home
Kelley is a natural singer and actress who engages the audience in a very real way. You feel like you are emotionally connected to her journey through story and song. Kelley Dorney just recently closed Nice Work If You Can Get It at Musical Theatre West as Billie Bendix. Also down in Long Beach with MTW, she performed in the Reiner Reading Series Pipe Dream (Suzy) and Louisiana Purchase (Marina) as well as Carousel (Heavenly Friend). L.A. credits include Lend Me a Tenor (Maggie) and First Date (Ovation nominated Ensemble, Woman #2) at La Mirada, OKLAHOMA! (Ado Annie) at 3D Theatricals, Superhuman: Workshop (Center Theatre Group), Promises, Promises and State Fair (Musical Theatre Guild), Serial Killer Barbie and Adam and Eve and Steve (NoHo Arts Center), and Nunsense (Crown City Theatre). Kelley has toured the country with Fancy Nancy and Click Clack Moo (Theatreworks USA) and Disney Cruise Lines. While living in London, she performed in the PBS Concert Special: A Tale of Two Cities (Seamstress) and the workshop of Love Never Dies (Really Useful Group). She can be heard on both cast albums. Kelley spends her morning performing improv sketches of students creative writings with the group Imagination Machine.
