WTS May Lunch Program
Climate change presents both direct and indirect risks that impact our regions long-term growth and resilience. Please come join us on May 29th for an opportunity to discuss statewide and local efforts with leading regional and local experts in the field who are working to increase climate resilience of our regions infrastructure and transportation systems. The panel will share insights on building regional collaboration around climate change and their experiences implementing climate resilient strategies.
Panelists include perspectives from both the public and private sectors:
Lara Whitely Binder, Climate Preparedness Specialist, King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks Kelly McGourty, Senior Program Manager of Transportation Planning, Puget Sound Regional Council Carol Lee Roalkvam, Policy Branch Manager, WSDOT Environmental Services Office January Tavel, Architectural Historian, Environment and Planning, ICF

Registration and networking begins at 11:30 am. The program begins at noon and ends at 1:00 pm.

Cost: $15 for public agency staff and students, $20 for WTS members and $25 for non-members (plus Brown Paper Tickets service fee).
