Hephaestus: A World Premiere Workshop
In this modern, thrilling, funny adaptation of Greek mythology, the story focuses on Hephaestus, the often overlooked underdog. He battles with his controlling mother, the indelible Hera, while pining for the love of the beautiful Aphrodite, who loves another.

Be part of the creation of a brand new musical! In Music Theatre of Madison's first workshop performance, you'll see a semi-staged reading of the show, plus renderings of sets and costumes, vision boards from the creative team, and early drafts and demos. A post-show talkback will allow the opportunity for audiences to provide their feedback for the piece, which will be developed over the next year and be presented in a fully-staged production in August of 2019.
