Evan Laurence's Punny Farodies

Evan Laurence presents an evening of parody songs some concocted from classic rock and soul, others from current hits. Playing songs on ukulele that will never include Tiptoe through the Tulips, Evan will tickle your funny bone while touching on some LGBTQ issues in a lighthearted vein. Accompanied by Steven Dworkin and guest starring the inimitable David F. Slone and special guest Michael Musto! Evan Laurence is a native New Yorker, singer/songwriter, milliner and couture designer. He has performed at Carolines, Dont Tell Mama, House of Yes, the historic Stonewall Inn and many clubs around the city. He has a monthly show at Bobby Dees bar in Jersey City and hosted and performed for JC Pride this past August and will be producing and performing for events in this years celebration as well. This is the first time Evan has performed at Pangea and is very happy to share his quirky parody songs.

Downtown's intimate supper-club Pangea is the ultimate in alt, playing home to some of the best in alt cabaret. The New York Times recently called it "a bohemian oasis not unlike the fabled Max's Kansas City from days gone by."
