Amira: A Chicago Cinderella Story
In honor of its 25th anniversary, Hyde Park School of Dance is proud to announce the premiere of a brand-new story ballet, Amira: A Chicago Cinderella Story. HPSD's production modernizes the traditional Cinderella fairy tale while still keeping its magical elements. Set in Hyde Park, the story centers around Amira, a refugee who has recently arrived in Chicago, as she explores her new city, meets new friends, and attends the Chicago Masked Ball. Featuring a cast of dancers ages 7 to adult, this 75-minute, family-friendly production will premiere at the Logan Center for the Arts in June 2018.
Online ticket sales will end 3 hours prior to each performance, but remaining tickets will be sold at the door beginning one hour before the performace
