Jazz Night with Special Guest Matt Carr
The Marylhurst Jazz Ensemble performs an evening of jazz and favorites from the Spring 2018 term. This concert will feature special guest Matt Carr on Trumpet. Matt is a performer and educator in the Portland, OR area for more than 10 years. His career has brought him from performing in the Las Vegas area, recording, and teaching to Portland with his family. Matt studied Trumpet performance at UNLV. He is a dynamic and expressive player with a great sound! Selections to include "I Remember Clifford", "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy", and "Girl from Ipanema".
