Manure Composting & Management: Conquering Mount Manure

Have more manure than you know what to do with? Learn new tips and techniques for composting and managing manure that can reduce pile size, create a valuable soil amendment, improve animal health, reduce pests, and keep our water clean. This workshop will cover composting practices, manure storage plans, options for using or getting rid of your manure, how to use manure safely as a fertilizer and spreading manure on pastures. Participants will receive excellent resources and hear from WSU Clark County Extension natural resources specialist Doug Stienbarger.
