Love Love celebrates the release of their brand new CD with a stellar cast of guests including Field Day, Cujo, and Russell Chudnofsky. LOVE LOVE Love Love are a lush, often darkly passionate mix of vocal-and-lyric-driven 60s and 70s-inspired rock, with two lead voices of Chris Toppin and Jefferson Davis Riordan blending beautifully. This is not your fathers indie-rock, writes Francis DiMenno of The Noise. Sitting nicely with acts like The Head and the Heart, The Lumineers, and Neil Young, LOVE LOVE also has an experimental side, as well as the determination to just write the best songs possible, whatever they may be. Hits and risks, thats our motto, says Riordan.
FIELD DAY Field Day formed proverbially, in a basement, and unexpectedly, when its members were well into middle age. Joan Anderman was a neophyte, having left her longtime post as rock critic at The Boston Globe and set out to become a songwriter. Her former Globe colleague Dan Zedek, veteran of numerous college bands, was sitting on a stash of songs written in his head while riding the train to work. The band's original drummer John Kehe offered his gear-filled basement for weekend song circles. The chemistry was potent. These songs and these songwriters belonged together. With the addition of bassist Phil Magnifico and drummer Jefferson Riordan, Field Day has become an unlikely upstart on the Boston club scene, playing rock music with scrappy hooks, dreamy harmonies, and irrepressible spirit.
RUSSELL CHUDNOFSKY Russell Chudnofsky has recorded and toured the world playing guitar for a number of talented artists. This includes Grammy Award winning songwriter Lori McKenna, Grammy nominated singer Tanya Donelly, Sarah Borges, Amelia White, Eileen Rose, Scott Janovitz, Kris Delmhorst, Todd Thibaud, and Catie Curtis. He has toured as an opening act for Frank Black of the Pixies, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Trisha Yearwood, Throwing Muses, Laura Veirs, and has opened for Gillian Welch, Hot Tuna, Steve Earle, Ellis Paul, Peter Wolf of the J. Geils Band, and John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival
CUJO Is a rock band featuring Jennifer Trynin.
