Lauren Marsh
Propelled into the prime time CBS television spotlight, Lauren Marshs original song Dear Love was prominently featured on NCIS: New Orleans (Episode 2.16 Second Chances). Dear Love has also been added to Spotify curated playlists and currently exceeds +4 million streams.
At age 26, Marsh is a born and bred singer songwriter, raised in rural New Jersey who started writing songs at the young age of 14. With a two octave and-then-some vocal range, she cruises on sultry low notes and glides through high melodic pitches. Marshs music and live performances are drenched in talent and raw emotion. As a result, her songs are considered infectious by her loyal fans. Im so honored when someone tells me its their first show and then I see them out at the next one singing along, its a feeling Ill never forget, says Marsh.
Now embarking on a new EP, Marsh knows whats most important to her and her music, I feel lucky. My songs that have received the most attention are the ones that most authentically represent me. As an artist, thats all I can hope for. It allows me to really be myself on this next project.
Whether performing solo acoustically or with her band, her original songs and inventive covers captivate audiences. Marsh has been honored with Top Indie EP awards, performed as Pre-show entertainment for Andy Grammer, Gavin DeGraw, and Air Supply, and has opened for artists such as Don McLean, Anna Nalick, and Howie Day. She has been a featured act at The Red Gorilla Music Festival in Austin, TX, and has played at legendary NYC venues including The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, and The City Winery. This songstress is just getting started.
