Funny Little Thing Called Love, a jones hope wooten comedy
FUNNY LITTLE THING CALLED LOVE closes the Onstage Repertory Theatre's 40th Anniversary season at the Martinez Campbell Theater. This deliriously funny new comedy by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten is all about that four-letter word "LOVE". Follow four rollicking tales on an around the world journey of hilarious twists and turns.
Directed by Edwin Peabody, the cast features some of Onstage favorites Joseph Hirsch, Jennifer Lynn Brown Peabody, Randall Nott, Remington Stone, Sheilah Morrison, Anne Baker, Siobhan O'Brien and Diane McNeely. Onstage introduces new performers Delaney Duquesne and Diamond to Onstage audiences.
The three co-writers have an extensive list of credentials, and Onstage Theatre has produced several of their comedies, including the popular Christmas Belles. Jones co-authored the play, Dearly Departed, and its screen adaptation, Kingdom Come; Hope worked as Director of Casting for ABC Television in Los Angeles; and Wooten has written and produced nearly four hundred episodes of network television, including four seasons of The Golden Girls.
"FUNNY LITTLE THING CALLED LOVE" plays May 11-27. Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm Thursdays May 17 and 24 at 8pm Sundays May 20 and 27 at 2:30pm
