Little Sparta: Mosaic Workshop with Susheila Jamieson
We are delighted to host a mosaic workshop by Susheila Jamieson on Saturday 25 August.
From arrival on site at 10:30 participants will have up to 2 hours exclusive access to the garden to gather ideas for their creation. Susheila will guide & supervise the mosaic making until 16:30. (The garden will be open to the public from 12:30. Participants are welcome to remain in the garden until it closes at 17:00.)
All materials, tools and protective equipment are provided. At the end of the workshop you will have your own mosaic creation to take home.
Although the mosaic workshop will take place indoors, in Ian Hamilton Finlay's library, participants should still dress for the outdoors according to the weather on the day as time will be spent in the garden gathering ideas.
Great coffee and flapjack is supplied. Please bring your own packed lunch and any supplies you need for the day.
Class size is limited to a maximum of 8 so booking is essential.
This workshop is not suitable for people younger than 16.
