A choreographic series featuring new work by Peter Bingham and guest artists Shauna Elton and Natalie Tin Yin Gan

Shauna Eltons has created Amae:
No matter how wide she stretched her arms, the amount that she loved us was beyond her reach. It could not be quantified or contained. It was ten thousand named things in the Tao Te Chings universe and then ten thousand more. Her love was full throated and all-encompassing and unadorned. Every day she blew through her entire reserve.

Guest artist Natalie Tin Yin Gan has created a collaborative work with Alanna Ho, Aryo Khakpour and Michelle Lui:
Four artists, forty hours. First, we asked: how close does intimacy sound? Then, we wondered: what are we doing together? Along the way, we embraced the tantric tyranny of aural pleasure. At last, we performed for each other, and then performed for you.

Peter Binghams scored improvisation, Pillars, continues his exploration of how structure determines relationships, how freedom finds expression within restrictions. The dancers can only meet according to pre-set rules, but within this framework they are free to improvise. The architecture of the dancers body multiplied by seven transforms the space; through their dancing the space becomes the choreography.
