48-Hour Threadbare Shakespeare: A Comedy of Errors (Script in Hand)

Join us as we dive into a condensed version of one of Shakespeares greatest comedies as we tackle A Comedy of Errors in this fast-break, fun-filled staging! Using little more than the script in our hands and the beauty of the nature around us, we will let the language of the bard guide us as we put up a show in a 48-hour window. Participants do NOT need to be experts in Shakespeare to enjoy this class, just willing and wanting to learn about it! The first day of Camp will be spent understanding the meaning of the words and doing staging in the park. On the second day, we will rehearse the show before lunch and then do a performance for friends and family after lunch!
Requirements: As we will be performing this script in hand, reading is highly encouraged.
Notes: Threadbare Shakespeare means we will be doing the production with very minimal props or costumes.
