Iric Nathanson traces the life and nearly 40-year political career of Minneapolitan Don Fraser. Fraser served first in the Minnesota Senate, then the U.S. House of Representatives, then returned to Minneapolis to serve as Mayor until 1993. Nathanson knows his subject well, having been an aide to Fraser at one time. The book illuminates the depth and breadth of Frasers involvement in issues from the War in Vietnam to Civil Rights to protecting the BWCA. Nathanson will talk about his book and sign copies. Copies of the book are for sale at the museum.
