The Miracle Worker
The young child, Helen Keller, is blind and deaf since early childhood. Her desperate parents seek help from a young and inexperienced teacher, Annie Sullivan,  who is also half-blind. Despite family resistance and the extreme difficulty of teaching the child how to communicate effectively, Annie persists. She senses that there is the potential for a rich and rewarding life if only she can succeed in unlocking the secret and setting Helen free. This captivating, tender, and at times, explosive tale is an American classic.
