An Unbookable One Man Show
The Unbookable One Man Show is the heartbreaking story set in post-war Argentina of a young dental student who must reconcile his passion for huffing paint thinner with his life as a young Mormon. With the help of a gifted mentor named Bongo... No that's not it. The Unbookable One Man Show is just me James Inman thinking out loud about comedy, UFOs, beer and drinking urine to survive in the desert for five days outside of Death Valley. Essentially it's a train wreck about my depressing life and then I end the show with a slide presentation I call the Greyhound Diary which is even more depressing and pointless.
Star of the just released film The Unbookables, James has been described by media critic David Fewster as being "the spawn of an unnatural union between Henry Rollins and Don Rickles." 1997 winner of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition. Performed at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, Comedy Central Laugh Riots and is a three time headliner of the Seattle Lenny Bruce Festival. He was co-creator of the Mudslingers Ball Comedy Central pilot which later became Crossballs:The Debate Show and Root of All Evil with Lewis Black.
