Halls Signature Events Wine Dinner
Please join us Wednesday, April 25 at 7 p.m. when Halls Signature Events presents an extraordinary evening of exquisite food paired with four remarkable wines from California and a superb French Champagne.
Guests will be greeted with a glass of Maison Veuve Clicquot Champagne NV, France. The opening reception will feature passed hors d'oeuvres:
"Spiced Tuna, Caviar, Buckwheat Blini
"Cold, smoked duck, local strawberry mostarda, foie gras brioche, crackling
"Spring pea radish, pastry basket
The first course will include Johnston County Country Ham, monkfish, saffron papparadelle, Clammer Dave's clams paired with a 2015 Jordan Chardonnay from Sonoma.
The second course is a crispy veal sweetbread, with pancetta, tomato, turnips and a creamed claret paired with Newton Skyside Claret, Napa 15.
One of the most desired Napa wines Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa 15 highlights the third course a pairing which goes perfectly with a Venison Chop, dry-aged brewed short rib, mushrooms en croute, rainbow carrot, green herb purée with a natural reduction
Guests will finish the evening with Triple Chocolates, hazelnut chiffon and passion fruit while enjoying Trefethen Late Harvest Riesling, Napa 13.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m. with passed hors d'oeuvres and Champagne beginning at 7:00 p.m. Seating is limited so please order your tickets early.
Halls Signature Events is located at 5 Faber Street, just off East Bay Street directly behind S.N.O.B. There is a city-owned parking garage right next door on Cumberland Street for your convenience.
In the heart of historic downtown Charleston on a cobblestone street, Halls Signature Events is a 6,900 square-foot space, perfect for corporate meetings, cocktail and dinner receptions, welcome parties, weddings, rehearsal dinners and holiday parties for up to 250 guests.
