Daniel Evans and The Old Yellers
Daniel Evans- The inside passage to Alaska has been paddled by native canoes since time immemorial, sailing craft for centuries, and after someone found gold in the Klondike the route was jammed with steamboats full of prospectors elbowing each other out of the way for the promise of fortune. Its in the spirit of tradition, exploration, and the lawless self-reliance of the gold rush that Race to Alaska was born. R2AK is the first of its kind and North Americas longest human and wind powered race, and currently the largest cash prize for a race of its kind. Join us as Daniel Evans, Race Boss, provides an insiders perspective on the Race to Alaska (R2AK). 4 PM
The Old Yellers- With excellent original songwriting, old school country charm, rock and roll roots and well crafted ballads, their edgy style, transcendent harmonies and rollicking roadhouse twang and holler has compelled fans from Portland, Oregon to Dublin, Ireland to raise their glasses in triumph, open their hearts in connection and laugh out loud in joyous revelry. Groove with The Old Yellers at the BoatShop as they play Americana music fusing Appalachian folk and traditional outlaw country.
