Taco Truck Theater / Teatro Sin Fronteras: Radical Outdoor Theater on Wheels
Pangea World Theater is proud to present Taco Truck Theater / Teatro Sin Fronteras, featuring award-winning performance artist José Torres-Tama.
Driven by a live music sound-bed and a street performance vibe with pop-up food vendors, the Taco Truck Theater / Teatro Sin Fronteras challenges the anti-immigrant hysteria gripping the country. The diverse and bilingual ArteFuturo Ensemble performs a visually dynamic show with moving stories that offer a parallel between Latina/no immigrants dehumanized as "illegal aliens" and the historical struggles of African Americans, with focus on the national crisis of police shootings of unarmed black civilians.
Taco Truck Theater in the parking lot of Intermedia Arts. Blankets and camp chairs are welcome.
