Being E X T R A (Comedy Storytelling)
Have you ever met someone and thought "woah I bet THEY have stories"?
Cool, us too.
Being E X T R A is a comedy storytelling show where we take the most extra feature of someone's life and ask them to divulge the juiciest story that came from being a tad extra.
What does extra mean?
It means not basic. We are curating stories from Artists, Athletes, Musicians, Magicians, Hairless Cat Breeders, Veterans, Strippers, Bartenders, Activists, Comedians and Aliens.
We believe everyone/anyone is guilty of being a little extra at times and we're here to exploit that.
Our inaugural live show will feature 6 storytellers recording for our Being E X T R A podcast.
Its in the lower stage of Commonwealth Bar because everyone knows cultural stuff is way cooler in basements.
We want you there to share the energy...plus if you attend you can sic our curators on to your oddball friends to entice them on to future shows.
AND since we can't just have a storytelling comedy show ourselves without being extra about it, the show ends with Commonwealth Bar's notorious What-a-Time dance party following the event.
