Embark on a journey of wonderment, taming, and exploring what is visible only to the heart. Delight in richly layered and allusive choreography, original composition and surrealist aesthetic in the spirit of Belgian painter René Magritte. Rekindle lost innocence in this reimagined rendering of St Exupérys universal parable.
PERFORMANCE #4*** STABAT MATER FEBRUARY 23 & 24, 2019 TOWN HALL SEATTLE >>Choreography by Olivier Wevers >>Music by Alexander Weimann Whim WHim and Seattle Baroque Orchestra join forces to present Pergolesis enduring masterpiece Stabat Mater, the ancient hymn portraying Mary during the Crucifixion. Inspiration overflows in this fusion of art forms. ***Tickets must be purchased through Early Music Seattle. Subscribers will receive instructions to redeem 20% off.
