Consider the Cocktail A Slow Celebration of the Repeal of Prohibition
Weegee's Lounge Sunday, May 18 4:00 -7:00 p.m.
Join Allen Katz, Master Mixologist and Chair of The Board of Directors for Slow Food USA, and Bridget Albert, Master Mixologist and member of Slow Food Chicago, for an evening of fine drink, long tales, and festive camaraderie as we revisit classic American cocktails in toast and benefit of Slow Food USA.
Our cocktail party will feature a repertoire of expertly mixed libations and seasonal hors doeuvres in the tradition of the fabled Free Lunch, a pre-Prohibition custom.
