AIAOC Lunch Program - Innovators In LED Lighting

Innovators in LED Lighting gives designers fluency in LED lighting technology through demonstration of LED products across applications. The lighting industry updates every 6 months, and our goal is to keep designers up to date. This education allows designers to guide clients towards informed decisions about LED lighting and increases the understanding of quality of light required to make design projects 100% successful.
AIA / IDCEC members can earn one LU from taking this course
Learning Objectives Attendees will be able:
-To identify the benefits of color tunable LED lighting for office, school, retail and hospitality applications
-To identify 3 ways that knowledge of quality of light in LED Lighting improves the final design project.
-What are the 4 lighting layers needed to make the spaces you design look 3 dimensional.
-What are the technical challenges of working with LED lighting, including thermal management and controls and how are LED lighting manufacturers addressing these challenges?
