Anton Schwartz Quintet

A Bay Area favorite now based in Seattle, Schwartz is beloved for his rich saxophone sound, his powerful improvisations and his original compositions that are as deep and memorable as they are melodic and accessible. Here he brings his jazz quintet, which was voted Northwest Acoustic Jazz Ensemble of the Year in 2017.

That's Schwartz's terrific touring band, with the addition of bassist Alex Boneham. A young alumnus of the Monk Institute, Boneham has has become one of the most in-demand players on the L.A. scene. He's toured with Herbie Hancock and Dee Dee Bridgewater, performed at the White House with Herbie Hancock, and headlined the Hollywood Bowl with Herbie and Wayne Shorter.
